The only nice thing about these apartments is the clubhouse and it's not available during the evening so by the time you get off work and want to go work out, play basketball, play pool, watch movies in the theater, or talk to actual staff you can't. I didn't ever do any of those things when I lived here. There was never enough staff when you needed to ask a question or get help. The computer room they had only allowed you 45 mins online and you couldn't print anything. The pool was nasty the few times we tried to swim and always rowdy kids. We used the jacuzzi once but it was greenish water and we got out. They drained it after that and never had it running again for the rest of the summer. There were always small kids wandering around without supervision. I heard a guy screaming in his apartment on his phone. He was making death threats to someone. I saw a young woman get into it with an elderly woman yielding a butcher knife. I witnessed a man chase a woman around his car. She damaged his car, her kid kicked him in the nuts, and he went after both of them. Yet the police arrested her and let him go back to his apartment two floors below mine. And yes, there was a shooting in the complex. Police are out all the time. Our heater never worked right and maintenance said our thermostat was backwards and acted like we didn't know how to use it. It was too hot and the a/c never cooled the place. So we opened the windows and all you get is weed smell. And some people would blast the radio all day so loud the entire courtyard could hear it. The blinds would always fall down and we would put them back in and they would just fall out. We were originally shown a remodeled apartment. New carpet and my room had a walk in closet. When we moved in we didn't get either of those. We had old carpet, they painted the whole place sloppy white. After we moved out, I got mail stating that we owed hundreds of dollars. They wanted to completely repaint the unit even though we never painted it, never even put up anything on the wall. I used a few stick pins for a calendar and some Christmas cards. They had all these charges that I don't understand. Why is it $90 for a unit cleaning fee but the $50 carpet shampoo isn't part of that? I have emailed and called them numerous times. I finally got a live person who told me she couldn't help me and that the manager could but she went home early due to personal reasons. She said should would leave a note to have this person call me. Here it has been 72 hours later and no call. I tried calling again today and got the voice mail again. The only time this woman called me is when I called her a week ago to get a copy of my rental agreement for school. The deposit disposition hadn't arrived yet. Now that I have left voice mails asking someone to call me and explain these charges and tell me where my pet deposit disappeared to they won't respond to my emails or calls. I will never recommend anyone to this place.
